About The Company

Ecobotix ApS was founded in February 2015 by Anders Petersen in order to commercialize original patentable ideas of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) by use of unmanned units in agriculture. In 2016, Ilja Kraszovszkij was hired as product developer and later he became also co-founder of the company.

From the very beginning the focus of Ecobotix has been development of a unique dispensing systems for gently, precisely and efficiently distributing macrobial control agents (insect and mites) in various types of crops, effectively making pesticide-free growing more tractable. In 2020 the first patent was granted from the European Patent Authorities and more patents have already been filed and would be expected over the coming years.

So far, the journey of Ecobotix have been encouraged by several equity free investments (total sum of 6,5 m. DKK to Ecobotix) mainly from various public sources: Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fishery of Denmark, the Innovation Fund Denmark and EU’s Regional Development Fund as well as the private Alexander Foss Industrial Foundation.

Ecobotix works both as a technology and service provider.

With the aim of offering to professional growers the most responsive and qualified pest treatment solution possible Ecobotix is also seeking to integrate complementary third-party technologies and today offers clients camera-based products such as Trapview pest monitoring systems as well as MicaSense multispectral crop monitoring systems.

Ecobotix service offers include execution of drone flights for collection of high-resolution and multi-spectral drone imagery, delivery of beneficial agents, as well as installation and maintenance of insect monitoring tools and Ecobotix patented bio-control delivery systems. Ecobotix remains always open to discuss potential suggestions for new solutions, future business, joint R&D or even equity investment offer.
